I love B&W because that is how I started. It takes a certain eye to decide that color won't work as well as B&W. It takes a certain eye to then compose and present that image. Congrats on having that Certain Eye

Behind The Lens

Location

This was captured in Lavender Bay Sydney

Time

This is one thing i cannot forget. This was shot around 6 30am for a sunrise and It was freezing cold but that didn't stop me from waking up early in the morning and travel 45 mins to this location. There was no sun but the clouds formation did the image justice.

Lighting

This image was shot in long exposure using the natural light. Due to the clouds you didn't see any sun but it gave that dramatic look which i loved.

Equipment

This was shot with the sony a7sii + Zeiss 35mm f1.4

Inspiration

This is one of my favourite places in sydney. It is hidden and not many people know about. I have always wanted to do a sunrise shoot at this place. I will definitley be going back to it

Editing

This image was edited in lightroom and niksoftware for contrast.

In my camera bag

I normally have in my bag sony a7sii + 35mm f1.4 Sony a7ii + FE90mm f2.8 macro Zeiss 55mm f1.8

Feedback

Doesn't matter what kind of weather it is always have the motivation to go out and shoot as you do not what you will capture unless you go.
