This photo was taken at the Grand Tetons in Wyoming.Time
I couldn't ask for a better fall day, if I had dialed God himself. Even though it was around noon time the conditions were so perfect. It took me several minutes just to admire the beauty of it all, before I could take a picture and then I couldn't stop taking them. The picture was taken on Sept.19,2015Lighting
The lighting was all natural.Equipment
I used a Canon 70D camera with a 18-55 lens. No tripod was used, just hand held. No filters either.Inspiration
Since fall is my favorite season, I was looking for something that was bursting with color. I also loved the reflection off the water and how it enhanced the experience.Editing
I shot the photo in raw, I also used automatic exposure bracketing at -1,0,+1. Then combined photo's. Used photoshop to make final adjustments to exposure and white balance. In my camera bag
Currently I am carrying a Canon 18-55 lens and a 55-250 lens. Not top of the line but it's not the price of the equipment but how to use it. But I am working on getting a Canon 24-70 mm lens. I also carry filters.Feedback
Shooting landscape photography best times usually at the golden hours. You need to diversify and be ready at all times. You really don't know when that great shot is going to come. Sometimes patience is rewarded, always look and really see not shoot what you may think looks good.
