Location
We had the dogs out pheasant hunting in a field on the farm property in Pennsylvania.Time
It was Thanksgiving morning, probably around 9am. The dogs were waiting for us to catch up to them, they look back to keep us in sight.Lighting
It was natural dahlight, a cool crisp fall morning.Equipment
Canon Rebel T5, I believe I used my kit 18-55 lens. No flash or tripod for this shot.Inspiration
These two Springer Spaniels have been together for about 6 years & my goal was to photograph them together while looking the same direction. Nailed it!Editing
I took the photo in RAW format. I lighten the dogs so you could see them better and cropped it.In my camera bag
Even though I did not use the tripod for this photo, I always have it with me. I also carry my 400mm lens in case we see an eagle or great blue heron near the ponds.Feedback
Always, always, always take your camera with you. And, keep practicing & learning!
