Location
This photo comes from the Eastern plains of Colorado. We're not all mountains.Time
End of Day, Start of Night!Lighting
Mother nature provided all the lighting required.Equipment
Fujifilm XM1 with 200mm lens. It has proven time and time again to be a great camera and lens combination. In the settings, I use custom auto with color +1, Sharp +1, ISO400, film simulation Velvia.Inspiration
I live in Colorado and have family in Kansas. On my trips back and forth nowadays I take the roads less traveled. What was a three hour trip on pavement, I have turned into a five or six hour trip on back roads. Out where the cows live! I make it a point to start early and or arrive late to take advantage of the rising or setting sunlight.Editing
No post processing here, the camera gets credit for this one. I'm not photoshop savy, so if I didn't get the photo right from the get go, I learn and adjust next time.In my camera bag
My bag has one camera, Fujifilm XM-1. Two zoom Lenses, 18-55mm and 55-200mm. I use the 55-200 at the 200 setting for 95% of my photos. I use a grey card to set the white balance as needed.Feedback
