Location
At the ranch of a friend a couple of hawks nesting in the wall of a barn. Outside some animals lived sharing the site. Small calves, a dog and chickens.Time
Early in the morning trying the first light of day.Lighting
Nothing much, I had to edit the strong reflection of light falling on the white wall around the subject.Equipment
Canon 8od camera, Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L lens, Tripod and a net to cover me and equipment.Inspiration
I love photographing birds of prey and although it is a nesting site did not hesitate because I had chance to do so without causing disorder in almost adult chicks. I ended up being successful watching even a food delivery by the father respecting the space of birds.Editing
As I told, the strong light at the time forced me to some adjustment at the end and some crop in the original. In my camera bag
Just what I mentioned above.Feedback
This photo resulted from a tip from a friend, the owner of the site itself, it was the first time I photographed these birds in these conditions. Usually, for these species, I random walk through the fields waiting for an opportunity. The best advice is to wait and let happen.
