This photo was taken at my home. This one was floating on a wooden table outside after rain, so I saw something pretty and took a shot :)Time
It was a day off from work and I wanted to focus just on photography at that day. I was heard about focus stacking and want to try that. This was one of my first try of that technique. Image was taken 21.6.2016 at 21:00Lighting
Sun was shining still in summer evening and reflection came out nicely. I wanted capture also that reflection which would maybe give some nice touch to the image.Equipment
This was shot on Canon 600D with EFS 18-55mm object. I added in front of the object some close-up lenses to get the focus close.Inspiration
Like I said before I had read about focus stacking and wanted to try that myself. That was my whole reason to go out and look something small :) I wanted still keep macro blur feeling in this image so I didn't use focus stacking all the way but all in all it is really handy technique.Editing
I didn't do much more than focus stacking in this. Little bit sharpen, contrast and turning picture in colored black and white with touch of blue.In my camera bag
Beside my EOS 600D camera I always have in my bag EFS 18-55mm lens which came with the camera. I have heard lots of opinion of this :) but when you can't have all I think this is very good lens with so many things, landscape to portrait and macro too with close-up lenses. Those are too in my bag. There are also Tamron AF 70-300mm, Canon EF 50mm lenses and Samyang 8mm fish-eye.Feedback
I'm still beginner myself too but I think focus is all in all. Use always tripod if you can. Photographing small things (or anything else if that matter) in nature is quite challenging because of wind. At least in my home place wind blows always. So if it's dark day I sometimes use spotlight to get more light and therefore get faster exposure.
