Moment.......
We reached the cage where Kookaburra was kept. We had some bird food with us. So, we tried to feed it many times. It gave a strange look, which we couldn't understand at that time. After a few tries, it probably got too irritating... with the silly people (us).
It flew to its food bucket and came out with this (meat). It was uninterested in having it... but wanted to demonstrate its arrogance. It came back and sat in front of us ... gave that strange look again...and this time we got the meaning.

G'day Aarti - great shot! Yes, that's our kookaburra alright. In the wild, they catch snakes, lizards & mice, like your kingfisher with lizard. They are part of that family. They come to visit me! :))
