Behind The Lens

Location

This Photo was shot in a Public Park in Rumaithiya, Kuwait. It was during our weekly photowalk with our team we spotted this hide seek cat and captured instantly.

Time

We started early 5 AM in the morning to reach this park during the winter to capture some migratory birds. This was shot during the early of hours around 7AM when the park was quiet with less number of people taking this morning walk.

Lighting

I have always loved to take pictures of hide and seek theme. Eventually this was my very first shot I took and it was an instant capture. As the cat ran immediately after this shot.

Equipment

This was shot with Nikon D7100 | 55-300mm Nikkor len | No flash used | Handheld

Inspiration

It is very common all kinds of being do this hide and seek activities. For me it looked like the cat wants tell something like needs some food but at the same time it was scared may be to approach.

Editing

It was a straight forward Adobe lightroom processing. As the daylight was less there was big noise which I have to clean up with lightroom

In my camera bag

Nikon D850 \ Nikon D7100 \ 200-500mm \ 24-70mm \ 105mm

Feedback

Just be prepared for any such action shots. Only thing is keep your ISO little higher. Don't mind the noise. Sometime noise do add better effects for action shot. Anyhow noise can be eliminated at a later stage of the processing.
