Location
I Took the Photo at the Elbufer in Dresden Germany. I've Never been to Dresden before so I've done some researches and arrived in Dresden the day before the shooting to choose this spot to be part of the shooting. Its directly under the Highway.Time
It was exactly midday when we shot this picture.Lighting
We shot against the harsh sunlight. So we were able to achive more contrast in her face through a golden reflector than it would have been if we had the Sun behind the Camera. We also tried to project the Rembrandt triangle to her face just slightly enough so you could barely recognice it.Equipment
I shot this one on the Canon 1dx mk2 with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/1:4L lense in Raw at the shutterspeed of 1/8000 of a sec. an apperture of 4,5 and at 33 mm with the help of a golden reflector and without a tripod.Inspiration
The idea was to combine untouched nature with civilization, just like the Designers slogan : "wild couture".Editing
I could have done more post-proccessing, of course... I could have edited 2 Raw files, one for the sky, and one for the foreground and overlay them afterwards . but I didnt, i just played around with the lighting control some millimeters in post turned the picture for about 3° and thats it.In my camera bag
I'm always on the road and I got my Camera always with me, so to be flexible I alway carry around my 7Dmk2 with the EF 24-70mm f/1:4L from canon a 70-300 mm from Tamron and a 50 mm and a 30mm prime lense . I also carry in my bag a Pillow filled with seeds so I can use it as a kind of flexible tripod ... thats it.Feedback
As I didn't wait in the jungle for days for a wild model to appear it wasnt that hard to get the woman in front of the lense. You want to shoot something similar? Ask a nice girl if she woukd like to be your photomodel get your gear out and shoot.
