The shot was taken on July 17, 2016 when a demonstration against homophobia and diversity was underway in Florence. I had noticed this couple walking and showing so much tenderness and mutual love. I followed their movements for a couple of minutes until I found the right moment to take the photo you see. It was about It's twenty to eighteen when these two women indulged in this passionate kissLighting

I love street photography and I had seen this couple walking hand in hand. I followed them for a few moments, convinced that the right moment for a beautiful photo could occur. The intuition was right because shortly thereafter, they kissed passionately. It is a photo that I particularly love for the naturalness and sweetness it expresses and without any kind of vulgarity.Editing

When you are out and about to take pictures of people on the street, you have to try to understand when the situation can give you the photo you are looking for. Normally I move in two ways: the first is to see an interesting subject. In this case I try to follow (or precede) it to find the right moment of the shot. The second is to find the situation of place and background that I like and wait for a subject to enter the scene. I prefer the first way of operating. However, street photography is tied to a personal sensitivity in finding something that excites you. For this reason, it is also very good to use the camera in the exact same way that you use your eyes and .... to photograph instinctively.
