Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in Es Castell, where it dawns the first sun of Spain, Island of Menorca.

Time

I captured this photo just after leaving my son at school, about 8:00am. I usually take my camera with me in the car. I was also prepared, as in the trip to take my son to school, I saw clouds and special lights in the sky, and knowing where the sun dawned, I prepared my camera for the moment.

Lighting

I love photographing sunsets and sunrises, and i wanted to get to know to other people where the first sun of Spain rises.

Equipment

I captured this photograph in January 2013 with a compact camara, Sony DSC810, i have captured many amazing photos with this camara and i have learnt quite a lot. For other part, I also had a Nikon d33. My recent acquisition is an amazing Nikon D7200, it is my soulmate and faithful companión, like Nature.

Inspiration

I could say I'm a seeker of sunrises and sunsets. Anyway, I love Landscapes and Nature, I specialize in these issues.

Editing

I just added a little intensity in the colors with Lightroom, the original photograph had very good quality.

In my camera bag

I usually take my camera Nikon D7200, my tripod and 18-140mm lense, my mobile, my notebook with notes, ballpens, wipes and my cap. I also take my compact camera Sony DSC-W810 when i go kayaking expedition. At the moment, i am waiting for a Tokina 11-16 lense or Sigma 10-20; the master for capturing landscapes. Apart from that, i love macro, but i am not specialized in it, and i have to study for it.

Feedback

We're lucky to have internet, we can see the times that the sun sets and leaves. Try being ahead of the times, in the morning try to wake up early and have prepared the equipment. Cloudy days give much play to photography sunsets and sunrises; tries to find the colors that leaves once the sun has set. I would say, looking with your heart will help you see wonderful landscapes to photograph.
