Location
This photo was taken at a small fishing village called Burrum Heads. It is about an hour and half from my hometown. There were several pelicans in the area all waiting for their chance to get some free fish.Time
I was so excited to see so many pelicans in the one place we had detoured here before heading home from another beachside town called Hervey Bay. It was approx 2pm on a cloudy day. I quickly jumped out of the car with my small Nikon D3300 in hand. Then i clicked happily away. The birds were happy to pose for me that day and i was able to get a few good shots from them. This above pic being one of my favourites. They enforced in me just what an awesome bird they are.Lighting
The lighting was all natural, i think a cloudy day. This helped to give a mood to the photo.Equipment
this was shot on my Nikon D3300 no other equipment.Inspiration
This shot was not planned. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.Editing
This was shot in the raw mode and I edited it briefly in Lightroom. I am a complete novice in this program so just did my best to what my eyes though was a good look.In my camera bag
Just my camera.Feedback
No I not good enough to give advice, but i would happily take some.
