This Photo was taken in Bajhang, Far-west region of nepal.Time
This is probably one of the best image taken so far. It was somewhere around 5-5:30 In the evening when me and my friend, we were Sauntering around the local Market we noticed a old man gossiping along with his friend who seems to of the same age.Lighting
As the picture was taken in natural light, I wanted the image to speak for itself so i thought of making the lines of the face a little more sharper/Equipment
I shot this photo with canon 1100D with 18-55 Kit lens. no external sources of flash was used while taking this pictureInspiration
i knew i needed to explore the different aspects of photography and shooting portraits was one of then. When i saw this man along with his friend, i was eager to know them and how they were together all these years as a friend. Talking and getting to know them made me little comfortable to ask the man if i can take the picture.Editing
Usually for portrait there are so much to do but in this case i simply kept the properties intact and a little boost in the sharpness and clarityIn my camera bag
I always pack my canon 1100D and my canon 60D along with 50MM F1.8, as the picture quality, the amount of sharpness and depth of field is so immense, tamaron 10-24 for wide angle and 70-200 telephoto for any close up from a long distance since my belief for a stunning photo is to try capturing the natural expression.Feedback
I'd say for a portrait something similar like this - capturing the true emotions and portraying it should be considered.
