Ethereal sunshine at Xilxes, a little town between Valencia and Castellón. A real pretty place for photographers.

Location
The photo was taken at Chilches (Castellon). A little town of spanish mediterrarean. It's really close to my home.Time
It was taken just before sunshine. That's my favourite time of day for catching these wonderful tones and mood. Sometimes is hard to waking up but there is nothing like to feel a wonderful sunshine.Lighting
I wanted to get a dramatic mood, so i made a long exposure for catching the foam of water and also have different lights and shadows at rocks.Equipment
I used a Canon 600D with a lens Tamron 17-50. For long exposure i used a Haida Bigstopper and of course a good tripod, the most important thing for this kind of photography.Inspiration
I also loved the sea photos where rocks were in foreground and there was a pier at backgroud. So at this place i had all the things i needed. This sunshine was magical and after some attemps i get "the photo".Editing
I always make two or three photos at sunshines, this time i did two exposures, one for the sky and pier and one for the sea and rocks. Then i used some luminosity masks with Photoshop and i improved tones and levels with Color Efex Pro.In my camera bag
When i go to capturing landscapes i always have with my my Canon 600D, my Tamron 17-50 and some filters, a Haida bigstopper and a ND8. The filters for me are the most important things in my bag. Of course a good tripod and something for cleaning camera and filters of water drops. Ah,,,, i never forget my lantern,,,, is dangerous walking between rocks before the sunshine ;)Feedback
My advice is to be constant. Each day is different but you never know how will be the sunshine until you're taking photos. Somedays you will back to home with nothing interesting and somedays you will carry with a bunch of great photos. Also is important to choose days with some clouds. Clear skies aren't so interestings.
