Downtown Anniston, Alabama, USA. I was at a training facility for the week attending class, and had gone exploring with my camera during my down time.Time
I had gone through a full day of hazmat training, and went to town to walk and clear my head. As the sun set, the Alabama heat eased off to become a perfect night.Lighting
I had been walking for a while as it got darker and cooler out. I sat on a bench for a minute, turned around, and realized the faint light of day was perfect with the crescent moon. I started shooting!Equipment
My Canon T3i with the kit 18-55 zoom lense, handheld and steadied against a concrete post. I have some newer lenses now, but I got a lot of mileage out of my kit lenses first!Inspiration

Canon 80D and T3i bodies, 18-55 & 55-200 kit lenses, 55 and 85mm primes, Tamron 16-300 zoom, flash unit, batteries and chargers, cleaning stuff, 14 SD cards. All travelling around in a Pelican case I've carried all over the place.Feedback
I carry my camera case everywhere, including on the ambulance. You just never know what you'll see. Explore, whenever you can, and shoot a lot. Viewbug is a great way to see what makes a good picture; I love learning from the pros on here!
