Location
Photo was shot at my backyard.Time
This was taken couple of hours before sunset.Lighting
I used old flash and self-made diffuser. In macro photography any normal flash tends to be too strong, so you need some additional diffuser to soften the light.Equipment
Sony A7M2, Konica AR 50mm f/1.7, extension tubes, flash and DIY diffuser.Inspiration
I dont know how long i was looking for jumping spiders outdoors, i only found couple of them before this one. I actually found him lurking on my kitchen cabinet door and from there i took him to my backyard. He did thank me with good pose! It's a good thing i wasn't looking for bears...Editing
Just normal white balance and contrast fixing in Lightroom. In my camera bag
Sony A7M2 with following stuff: 17mm Tokina AT-X Pro f/3.5, Konica AR 50mm f/1.7, 105mm Sigma f/2.8, Sigma 80-400mm f/4.5. Some ND and GND filters, batteries, remote control and cleaning kit. Along with a bottle of water!Feedback
You dont need macro ring flash for macro photography, pretty much any normal flash will do with DIY diffuser.
