This shot was taken in my local park while walking the dog on a lovely spring afternoon.Time
I took it late afternoon/early evening on beautiful spring day after it had been raining.Lighting
Just good old sunlight, nothing added.Equipment
My favourite at the time Canon PowerShot SX240HS which I take with me everywhere, even if I am on a shoot with my DSLR.Inspiration
While walking my dog I am always on the lookout for a great shot, on this occasion the sun was perfectly positioned between trees and the raindrop caught my eye so I just had to try and get the perfect shot with the sun behind.Editing
I only tend to do the bare minimum clean up, sharpen and contrast using picasa and cyberlink I don't like to overdo it.In my camera bag
When on a mission I will have my Canon EOS650D with 70-300mm lense fitted depending where I am going, EFS 60mm lense for Macro shots and EFS 18-55mm with circular Polarizer filter and my trusty Powershot is never far away. I also always have my baby tripod on my camera bag just in case and the big Velbon comes out for special occasions but it is pretty heavy.Feedback
Trial and error for me to be honest, I took about ten shots trying to get a good raindrop, before I thought to compose the sun on the edge of the frame which gave me the sunburst which I was really happy with.
