We were up the pitch of night for a trip to Cherokee, NC. to wait for dawn in a meadow we were told we could find this herd. No luck. We were about to leave when we heard this big fellow bellow. This was my first quick shot and I worried about the softness but then I think it works in the morning mist.

I drive by this bend in the Fox River almost every day and stopped short when I saw these.

I need-want-desire a macro lens so I can do better justice to these images. At Cuba Marsh near Barrington, IL.

Shots from my niece's wedding.

Returning from one of my favorite parks and caught this out of the corner of my eye. Had to stop short and park on a narrow and fast road.

Leaving the ceremony, I spied my granddaughter, ready with her bubbles and waiting for her cousin Becky, the bride.
