I take this photo from my hometown , Ko Phayam , Ranong , Thailand.Time
I take this shot at sunset time around 6:00 PM wait for sun move to the hole of the stone.Lighting
I want to have the sun to pass through the hole . Make it like the eye for sun. wait for a moment for beam of light and flare in the right direction. And Shoot.Equipment
Tripod and Canon 6D with 24-70 F4L .Inspiration
I love the sunset and the sea. When I see this stone first thing came to my mine is " Ah I want the sun Pass through this hole like the Eye of the Sun" and lucky for me . I in the right time and right place for this shot. Oh almost forget , I tell my gf to stand near the stone to show how it big.Editing
Just reduce the shadow to open the dark part on the stone. A little for dodge and burn And color balance.In my camera bag
My canon 6D and tripod, canon 24-70mm F4L and Sigma 50mm, other is CPL filter and remote shutter.Feedback
First is location and time, You must do a research about location, Where is the sunset and sunrise. The equipment is important too, I alway has a tripod in my bag all the time. And The most important is "Luck " . Right time in right place.
