My only images taken of people i credit to my fond friend Smoke. Smoke was kind enough to be my guinea pig for my one and only people shoot. We both didnt really know what we were doing but we had a lot of fun that morning trying. 2018 UPDATE: My friend has since been diagnosed and has undergone the battle with throat cancer. I had these images, what I had thought backed up, only to have been forever lost. This image is the one one in its existence now. Smoke continue his battle and if f God willing, He will give us one more beautiful morning to spend it together.

WOW! To have won the December 2016 Member Selection Award was quite a shock and an honor!! THANK YOU!!!! I had revisited this image of my friend, Smoke who was so very kind (and patient) to be my very first model while self-learning what I called "people" photography. Still an amateur, this one photo shoot of Smoke remains the only time I have taken any type of images of something that moves other than water, birds or my cats.
