Behind The Lens

Location
First of all, I apologize for my english skills! Now: The Photo was taken in may during vacation at a small river called " Chassezac" in south France.
Time
When then rest of my family was on a boat trip, I was playing with dog and camera at the river. The picture was captured in the late afternoon.
Lighting
Ambient light on a nice and sunny day.
Equipment
Nikon D300s and Nikon 150-300 mm Zoom lens ( at 280 mm ).
Inspiration
As I am still beginner in photography, I have to learn a lot. In this case I wanted to get familiar with the continuous autofocus function. My dog Lotta is water loving and fast, so she was the perfect model for the job.
Editing
The photo was taken in RAW, so I processed it in Lightroom. contrast up, highlights down, shadows up, whites down. Adding clarity and saturation. Sharpening and a light vignette.
In my camera bag
That depends on the plan. For vacations I keep it simple and small: Nikon d300s, 18-105mm and 150-300mm lenses, additional battery, charger and tripod. Thats it.
Feedback
As everyone can imagine, this was not the only photo I took. The shutter went like a sewing machine. My advice: take a lot of pictures, so you can choose the best out of it.
