Location
This photo was taken at Multnomah Falls on the Columbia River Gorge.Time
This was taken in August, around mid day.Lighting
The lighting was not too bright and made the perfect shot with just the right amount of true color.Equipment
The camera used was a Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XS, no other equipment was used.Inspiration
This has always been one of my favorite spots to visit, the beauty of the water cascading over the rocks is one I have enjoyed for years. This is a spot we make sure to visit every time we drive to OregonEditing
If any processing was completed it was only to straighten the photo, I love the beauty of a natural photo. In my camera bag
I have two cameras that I use, the Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XS and a little Canon PowerShot A2500, I have a 55mm lens and 100 mm lens that I switch out. Also, have a couple of hoods, a flash, tripod, monopod.Feedback
Honestly, I just shoot what speaks to me and what I find beauty in to share with others. This place has always had a special place in my heart since the first time I saw it with my great grandmother and again on a trip with my youth group in high school. Nature is where beauty can be found in great quantities and each waterfall is unique and ever changing. You can never take an exact replica of a waterfall because each water drop falls in a different spot and the light will reflect of those drops in a different way every time.
