Behind The Lens

Location

I took this at Disney's California Adventure.

Time

This was taken around 11 in the morning.

Lighting

I love how I could get some light reflection off of the trolley rail.

Equipment

I actually took this photo with my iPhone 6 with no flash or any additional add on lens.

Inspiration

I was like how the setting in this part of the park transcends you to a wonderful past time in America. And I was looking at how the trolley tracks take your eyes down the path of the tracks especially if you got down close to them. Then looking up I was thinking of how this maybe how a street rat would view this part of the park.

Editing

Yes, I did some high contrast of color. Warm filter, and brighten some highlights.

In my camera bag

I normally have my phone on me but in my camera bag I have a Nikon d3200 with a flash with a soft box, a Nikkor 18-55mm, Nikkor 55-200mm, and my new Sigma Art 30mm f1.4. I also have 3 camera batteries, 3 memory cards, and a UV filter.

Feedback

I would suggest trying to get yourself as close to the ground as possible, lay down even. The perspective on a scene changes when you get on the floor. In my photo I rested my iPhone on the rail itself to get the look I wanted also to stabilize it.
