Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken from West Bluff Picnic area in San Francisco.Time
This was taken on one of my morning walks with my dog, probably around 8amLighting
I just loved the clouds forming above the bridge and the mood it was setting. the sun was providing some very nice colors.Equipment
Canon 6D, 17-40 f4 canon lens. gorila grip tripod, no flash, no filters on the lens.Inspiration
The golden gate bridge is such an iconic land mark and when the weather gives us some dramatic scenes its almost impossible not to take a picture.Editing
Some post work to bring out the colors a bit more and add more drama to the picture. added contrast and brought out some of the shadows. In my camera bag
I always have my 17-40mm and 24-105mm canon lenses. Depending on where I'm going a small tripod or a bigger one. CPL filters and sone ND filters. Cable release. extra cards and batteries.Feedback
The Golden Gate bridge is photographed 1000s of times a day, I try to make my pictures of it different then everyone else. Trying different angles and hopping for some dramatic sky and clouds. Walk around and try to find an age that no one has though of.
