I took this photo in Niamh's home, she was about 4 weeks old but had been born very premature so she was absolutely tiny. She weighed just over 2 kg at the time.Time
This was taken around midday. Indoors.Lighting
I was using natural light available in the house, the bedroom had a southern facing aspect and we set up in that room.Equipment
I was using a Canon 70D and a 24-70mm lens.Inspiration
This was my first ever newborn shoot and with a new born so tiny, quite frankly, I was terrified. I love newborn and aged hands, they tell a story all of their own.Editing
Only a little, converting the image to lose a lot of the colour I found very beautiful.In my camera bag
I normally have 2 Canon Cameras, now incudes a 5D MkIV, 24-70mm, 50mm 1.4 (which is the most fabulous versatile lens which I would not be without - ever), 70-200mm, 18-24mm. 2 spare batteries, a speed light, transmitters, 4 memory cards. Hand cream and lipgloss! Its also the most fabulous camera bag ever 'Evermore' from House of Flynn!Feedback
