Location
At the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens in Florida.Time
Right when the Zoo opened at 9. She was supposed to be out from 10:00 on, but I wanted to get there early to get a good spot since there were going to be so many others there taking pictures of her. To my happy surprise, she was already there and I had her all to myself for a while.Lighting
It was early morning, so the light was still working in my favor.Equipment
I have a Nikon. This was taken with the D5100; I now have the D7500. Almost all of my photos are hand held.Inspiration
This was the first Sumatran tiger cub born at the zoo since it's opening over 100 years before. I was instantly smitten with her as soon as I laid eyes on her. Her playfulness, curiosity, personality, and beauty made her an all star for me. Even though she is quite the big cat now, I always seek her out whenever I visit. I've seen many different cubs through the years, but Kinleigh Rose will always be my favorite.Editing
No post processing, really. Just an auto enhance. In my camera bag
My bag now has my current Nikon D7500 with the Nikkor 55-300 lens as well as the D5100. I have a Tamron 150-600 also, and may use both cameras and lenses depending on what I am shooting. I usually have 2-3 spare batteries for each camera.Feedback
