This photo was taken at one of my favorite places in Knoxville Tn, Vols landing looking at the Henley Street BridgeTime
The perfect time of day or should I say night, for this shot is right after sunset. That is about the time the bridge purple lights start to illuminate and cast that perfect reflection in the water.Lighting
This is a shot where you get the best reflection on the water when you do not have a lot of moon light glow. When the moon is full the water shows a white reflection instead of color.Equipment
This was taken using a Nikon D5100, 55-200 lens On tripod using wireless release for the long exposure.Inspiration
My inspiration was the color purple that was reflecting off the water so clearly.Editing
I used vibrance to make the color pop.In my camera bag
I normally have my Nikon D5100 camera. The lens I most prefer to use is the 55-200 or the 50mm 1.8 this is my go to lens for super sharp eyes and beautiful bokia on the background. Also must have my wireless trigger for when Im using those long shutter speeds.Feedback
Must have a tripod with a triggered release. And a quarter moon helps get the great reflection
