Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the city of Naperville, Illinois.

Time

Morning time, between 7:50amand 8:02am

Lighting

This was shot using a tilt-shift lens, and it is a photomerge or stitch of two photos.

Equipment

Camera Nikon D810 Lens Rokinon 24mm tilt-shift f/3.5

Inspiration

My inspiration for this photo was the bridge itself, the wooden architecture it's unique and very elaborate.

Editing

Yes post-processing was done, first i merged/stitched my photos together then color conversion. All post processing was done on Lr and Photoshop Cc.

In my camera bag

In my bag you find at any given time a set of filters (cercular polarizer, variable Nd filter, 10 and. 3 stop and a graduated Nd filter) a release cable. For lenses, a 70-200mm f2.8 and a 24-70mm f2.8 are always in my bags no matter what. Of course my camera and a couple of batteries.

Feedback

Time is primordial for this type of capture, it help a lot. So I advise to avoid mid day direct harsh light to get the nice shoft shadows, also it will help you avoid people activities in your chosen location.
