Behind The Lens

Location

This photograph was taken in my family garden.

Time

I took this photo in the early afternoon one summer day.

Lighting

I used the natural lighting of the sun instead of photography lights.

Equipment

For this photograph I only used my Canon EOS 1200D camera with my 55-250 lens.

Inspiration

It was a warm summers day so I thought I would use the natural lighting to try a couple of portrait shots for fun.

Editing

After uploading this photo I used the ViewBug editing software to focus on the face rather than the background, also to exaggerate her freckles even more.

In my camera bag

Normally I only take my Canon EOS 1200D camera with two different lenses; I mostly use the 55-250 lens but always keep the 18-55 lens with me just in case.

Feedback

Everyday items and natural lighting can sometimes work just as well as photography props and lights.
