As part of my recent trip to France, I visited Monet's Garden in Giverny. The weather was very unsettled with off and on rain during a 2 hour bus tour from our riverboat to the garden. As we walked the 10 to 20 minutes it took to get to the gardens from where the bus was parked, it rained heavily, snowed and then hailed. When we reached the garden, the sun came out and remained so until we left. Since Claude Monet was a major contributor to the Impressionist movement, I wanted to produce something more of an abstract rather than a boring record shot. This is my result of working with the original image in Capture NX-D and PSCS6 Extended using Picture Postcard Workflow (PPW).
