Location
This was shot at Ancient City in Bangkok. Its also known as Muang Boran. It is a park that spreads over 200 acres with re-creation of historically significant structures in Thailand. The grounds of Ancient Siam correspond roughly to the shape of the Thailand, with each of the monuments lying at their correct places geographically. Some of the buildings are life-size replicas of existing or former sites, while others are scaled down.Time
This was taken on 28 February 2016, 6:30am. It is not possible to get into this place early in the morning, since the park opens only by 9:00am. You need obtain a special permissions from the park office well in advance and its not guaranteed. I was lucky to get the permission and to get this shot.Lighting
As a photographer you always want to shot during the sunrise and sunset times, best photographs like this one will definitely pop out! It was the sunrise which gives a perfect lighting to the photograph.Equipment
It was a handheld shot with Canon 6D and 24-105/4L lens.Inspiration
The temple, the early morning sun, the perfect reflection of the temple in the water and especially those clouds were lined up! These feels surreal and scene cannot be missed and also worth sharing with others!Editing
This was shot handheld with 3 bracketing exposures continuously shot, quite challenging while not using the tripod. Merged all the three exposures with ghost removal and then color adjustments & fine tuning. In my camera bag
Body - Canon 6D Lens - Canon 24-105mm/4L; 70-200mm/2.8L; 85mm/1.8L Filters - Lee Big Stopper; Lee Small Stopper; Cockin Gradual Density filters and the usual stuffs - memory cards, chargers, cleaning stuffsFeedback
Patience and practice makes good photographs. There is always opportunity to try new things, even though there are millions of photos taken at the same location, just try and try. There is no good shot or bad shot, its all about the authors perspective (photographers'), never mind if you had a portrait photo with eyes closed (many famous ones have portraits shots with eyes closed), so just do it and the rest will follow! :)
