Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo in Sandbridge, which is part of Virginia Beach, VA.Time
This is one of my favorite times to shoot. I like to shoot a lot during the night. Long Exposure particular. I was originally out to shoot the sunset and stayed about an hour later and found this to be a very elegant to shoot at night.Lighting
Lighting was an issue, since it was late at night when I took this photo. So, most of the light in the was from the pier lights it self.Equipment
I used the Nikon D810 with the Nikkor 24-300 lens. My tripod was Manfrotto.Inspiration
I'm always inspired by nature and architecture combined together.Editing
All my post processing takes place with Adobe products. I have a very interesting workflow. I utilize Adobe Bridge to scan through my images for my selections. Once all my selections are complete I do my initial edits in Camera RAW. After completing all my initial edits I bring my images into Adobe Photoshop for the final post-processing.In my camera bag
All my equipment in my bag is Nikon. I carry three lens normally, but lately I really have been using my Nikon 24-70mm 2.8 lens for everything.Feedback
My advice is always be prepared when you go on a shoot. I always have my tri-pod in the trunk of my car and the camera is usually there as well, when I leave the house. You never know when there maybe a photo opportunity.
