At my first professional skate event in Colorado Springs as a photographer, it was the sole purpose of my existence to capture an image of Rodney Meade doing a handstand with the beautiful Pikes Peak Mountains in the background.. This image was not staged.. I had to move into position as he came to the coping (cold metal along the edge of the ramp), in order to frame the shot perfectly, and I only had one shot to do it..
