I took this picture May 8, 2016 from my living room and through the window. Shot with my new Nikon D500 at 640sec, f-11, 400mm (my new Nikon 200-500mm lens), and at ISO 3600. The quality and detail in the photo shocked me considering the high ISO. Even using my older D800 I would never have gotten this quality. And the detail using the 200-500mm lens was also surprising as I had heard that it was a "soft" lens. Click on the image to open it up and look at the detail of the feathers on the back.
