Beautiful, and adventurous too. I appreciate that you placed the figure where you felt it needed to be and did not simply ,and mindlessly follow a rule of thirds or any other formula ( I notice the horizon is dead center.:)

Thank you. As they say, the rules are there to be played with and broken. Usually the horizon would be placed lower or higher (you're right), but stunning refection and shadows of this scene called for those rules to be thrown out the window.
