This weekend was an amazing weekend! It was a trip to one of my favorite places, the ARO! The trip was with several great friends and the goal was to get some clear nights and hopefully some northern lights. Checking the forecast and hoping the weather would clear I set my alarm for 2:45am Sunday morning. Opening my eyes, headed to the theatre room and was so excited to see a clear sky. I notice when getting near the window the sky was more than just clear, it was active! I ran over to my friends door, BANG BANG BANG, AURORA, next door, BANG BANG AURORA!!!!! Ran back to my room, hustled to get gear and get out ASAP! This was easily one of the best displays I have witnessed Thank you for viewing and feel free to share.
