Supermarine Spitfire MK XVI peacefully resting in the morning sun, at Temora in New South Wales, Australia, rightly restored to air-worthiness after itself contributing to restoring the peace, freedom and democracy enjoyed by "so many" of us today. A fitting tribute to those who served. With grateful appreciation to those heroic, resilient and gallant "Few" that included 32 Australians, alongside pilots' of many other nationalities', many of these brave young men paid the ultimate sacrifice and were not survive the conflict.
