This was the first time I’ve been there, but it will not be my last - It is on my list of places you should definitely take the time to see. The place had a really alien kind of feel to it. These large red boulders seem to be everywhere, some up to 8 feet I diameter, one is close to 8 feet tall. The largest of their kind in the world these boulders were formed in prehistoric seas. Layers of sand, calcite and iron oxide collected around a nucleus formed by shells, leaves or bones and they grew larger with time.
