Guard is a total couch potato when it comes to watching his favorite tv show cops. When he is not in total relaxation mode you can find him outback playing Frisbee and relaxing in his doggy pool. He enjoys long walks on the beach, playing with his older brother Putter and of course bacon.

Location
I walked back into the living room after cooking dinner my sweet little pug Guard was curled on the couch.Time
I took this photo in the evening.Lighting
The key to the lighting in this photo was a single lamp. Sometimes you get lucky with lighting.Equipment
I used a Nikon d7200 50mmInspiration
I am always inspired by my pug he is a ham for the camera. He is always making me laugh at how charismatic he is.Editing
I lighted the shadows up because he had a shadow on half of his face seeing the only lighting used for this photo was the single lamp.In my camera bag
Normally I have a wide angle 11-20mm Tokina lens, a 50mm Nikon Lens, a good zoom lens a 150-500mm nikon lens. That way I cover all of my bases. I love nature photography and found that the Nikon d7200 is a great camera that is light and versatile in all situations I find myself in.Feedback
When taking photos like this the key is spontaneity. You don't always have to capture images by posing your subjects some of my best photos are taken in the heat of the moment. Al ot of photographers seem to miss moments like this simply because they aren't looking for them. I am always looking at the different angles. I try to capture moments that others might miss.
