Location
This photo was taken from a wall on the south bank of the river Thames.Time
Coming back from an evening out, around 10.30pmLighting
No special lighting used. Just street and building lightsEquipment
This was shot with a Sony A58, 18-55mm kit lens, the camera was placed on the river bank wall as I had no tripod with me.Inspiration
The bridge illuminated at night is a fantastic, iconic image. I really wanted add this image to my collection.Editing
No post processing at all on this image. In my camera bag
I normally carry an A68, 18-55mm zoom, and a sigma 50-500 os app lens. A very sturdy manfrotto aluminium tripod, and a carbon mono pod. Remote release and a few ND filters.Feedback
Don't think because you don't have the best gear, or you haven't picked up your tripod that you can't get good night shots. Its always worth trying.
