Behind The Lens

I have been chasing the streams of sunlight coming through the clouds for a long time. When I was very young my grandmother told me than each beam was a soul going to heaven to become an angel. I still smile when I see the streamers.
Equipment
A small Samsung digital camera that would take me awhile to dig out of a drawer to tell you the model.
Inspiration
My grandmother’s story of angelss
Editing
Some work in Lightroom. Managing the colors and contrast to make the sunbeams more apparent then dodging and burning the beams that were there to intensify the natural effects of light and shadows.
In my camera bag
LUMIX 1000. I wanted a single camera with a fixed long zoom and no other lenses or accessories to carry around. It is light weight and fast.
Feedback
Be patient. Sometimes a friend who doesn’t talk too much and a six pack of beer or a bottle of wine help pass the time while nature takes its course and paints the sky for you to capture.
