The shot was taken in a zoo in central park of New York. After long strolling he sat down in that pose and i waited long time actually for this kind of resting pose. He didn't dishearten me, though the full glass fence was there and thankfully i managed to avoid any type of reflection.

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this shot in New York zoo. A thickened glass wall in between. Glass was not crystal clear. After a study i found a part of glass which is comparetively clear.

Time

It was around 3-3.30pm. Light in that place was good. No direct sun light but the diffused light was awesome.

Lighting

Apart from diffused light there was nothing special. I know that light will help me a lot. Problem was with the reflection of the surrundings.for that i placed the lens on the glass wall without keeping any gap and instead of auto focusing i selected the manual focus.

Equipment

Again that my handy panasonic lumix FZ35.

Inspiration

Actually nothing impressive posture and movement i got on that time. But couldn't leave that place because his royal attitude. After a long time when viewers left that place. He took this position and me also jumped into action

Editing

Nothing elaborated. Actually exposure is correct then you won the match 80%.just used the level to enhance the details.

In my camera bag

My ealier friend Lumix FZ35 and recently bought Nikon D850 for landscape and wildlife photography specially in low light. Actually FZ35 is equipped with carl zeiss lens which is brilliant.

Feedback

Read, Observe and follow the master photographers. Because without study and practice of implementing that you can't move further. Diffrent suggestions are there as per their convenience but you have to expermint that which is your cup of tea.
