Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken on a walking trail at Pinnacle Mountain State Park in Arkansas, USA

Time

Should have been midday I believe. My church’s men’s group wanted to hike Pinnacle Mountain, but being physically unable to climb the mountain I walked the flat trail along the river below.

Lighting

All natural lighting as found in nature under a heavy forest canopy.

Equipment

I believe I was using my Canon T2 at that time. Lens was the kit 18-55mm. No tripod. Maybe the on camera flash...but not certain if any was used.

Inspiration

God’s wonderful creations. Beautiful trees, flowers, etc as found in nature.

Editing

I know I edited this picture, I’m sure I changed the brightness, contrast and probably added some blur and vignette. At that time I was probably using some free software and used manual adjustments.

In my camera bag

I’m now carrying a Canon T6i, a tripod, 18-300mm lens, 18-55mm kit lens, remote control, and 4 extra batteries. I have a flash, but it doesn’t fit in my current bag... ????

Feedback

Given the location, I’d say make sure it isn’t raining too much, flooding in this location happens fairly often. Otherwise just watch for bugs and snakes while photographing anything in nature.
