Thank you .I'd heard of this place and wanted to photograph it for a while.I'd definitely like to go back and photograph it during different seasons and times of day

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Llyn Padarn in North Wales. The dramatic sky with the golden light reflecting on the water caught my eye. It is one of my personal favourites I have taken of North Wales.

Time

If I remember correctly it was taken late afternoon on a Spring day

Lighting

The lighting was fantastic, with the sun breaking through the dramatic clouds, reflecting it's golden light on the water.

Equipment

It was taken with a Nikon D500 and Nikkor 24-70mm lens

Inspiration

I had heard about this lovely place and it was on my bucket list to photograph.

Editing

The photo was processed from a RAW file in Light Room to bring out the details, especially of the sky

In my camera bag

My camera, a couple of lenses ( Usually my 24-70mm and 70-300mm) plus spare cards, batteries and a lens cloth.
