This was taken in our backyard. My son was playing with his newly purchased chicken. I thought it would make a super cute photo and ran to get my camera. Im only shooting for a few months now, but am very happy with how this one came out. To me, this was my first 'i loooove' image.Time
This was taken around noon on a summers day. Our outside playtime. Always having fun. I remember I couldnt get my camera fast enough, when I saw the chicken allowed my son to pick her up!Lighting
This was taken with natural light. For a split secon everything just came together perfectly.Equipment
I shot this image with a Canon 1100D and a 18-55mm kit lens. I didnt use any other equiptment.Inspiration
I remember seeing a 'boy with chicken' image from another photographer and really loved the vibe and cuteness of it. So I put it on things-to-shoot bucket list. When my son got hold of the chicken I just ran straight for my camera!Editing
Yes, I have. I added a vintage look and a slight vignette. Processed in Lightroom. In my camera bag
I have my Canon 1100D body, and my two kit lenses. A Canon 18-55mm and a Sigma 70-200mm. I have a kenko extention tube set, for macro fun, aswell as my Canon Speedlite. At this stage everything is in my camera bag, ready to go. I only started out recently, so my kit isnt big at all. But I looooove getting new equiptment and testing it out.Feedback
Oh dearie dear. I think, firsly, you will need a friendly chicken and a brave toddler! No really, this shot came so naturally and unplanned, that I think it wont have come out the same if it has been planned.
