Location
In Barcelona city. I was on a short weekend break, exploring this beautiful and vibrant city.Time
Around midday.Lighting
I used natural lighting, and felt that the sun was at in its best position, shining directly from above and casting some interesting lighting onto the scene below.Equipment
Just a simple point and shoot camera! (Fujifilm finepix). No tripod. No flash.Inspiration
Everything just flowed into place at once. It was pure coincidence that I visited that exact spot, at that time of day, and how the people were positioned.Editing
Well to be honest, I was reluctant to post this image, as my old mac had died and dragged the original to the grave with it. I had to download this copy off a site I had previously used, but unfortunately the quality had been reduced. So I decided instead of trashing it, that I would make the image smaller and add more negative space around it. I was relatively satisfied with the overall look and feeling it conveyed for this particular scene. In my camera bag

You don’t always need expensive camera gear, sometimes just being in the right place at the right time works well with any camera. A cliché yes, but any camera is better than no camera. Don’t throw away images that you think are great, but are low quality, try to revive and play around with them, then decide. Play with editing, make multiples of different edited copies, you can always go back if you not happy with the end product..have fun...be serious!!! Always keep a look out for interesting angles in nature, the small things, frames, shadows, light, faces and scenarios...take a step back to see if the picture ‘fits’ better. Use your imagination :)
