I wanted to capture the innocence of this young lady before it was took late. It seems that every year children are loosing it younger and younger. I had the subject look up because I want her to seem like she was hoping, wish or dreaming for something. The back ground represents the unknown. It's a mysterious world to a child and I was hoping the abnormal sci-fi shapes help represent the unknown we all have faced.
