Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at manor in the outskirts of Odense, Denmark. We found some hedges that was awesome to use for the right feel in this photo.
Time
This was shot at noon, but we had a scrim to make the light falling on Mette subtle and beautiful.
Lighting
We decided to go for all natural light on this one, as this gave the very best light for this moody feeling.
Equipment
I used a Nikon D7200, and a 24-70 f/2.8 Nikon Lens. This was shot at 62mm and with f/2.8 aperture, at ISO 100 and 1/250s
Inspiration
Mette contacted me about making a shoot, with her cello, and i thought it was a great idea. We wanted to create something strait out of a fairytale og storybook, and went for moody places.
Editing
The hedges was given a little length, as they werent high enough, and I added some fog to really show the mood. Other then that, I only did some small toning changes.
In my camera bag
My trusted Nikon D7200, 50mm Sigma Art, 24-70 Nikon f/2.8 and a 85mm Nikon D Other then that i always have a dust blower and a small cloth.
Feedback
I would defenitly try and find places that already show a moody feeling, and try to get a tele lens on, to compress part of the scene, and to really make the model isolated. Look for places between hedges, as they actually do offer great locations.
