I took this photo as part of my local Camera Club photo shoot. It was taken in an old Georgian Mansion where we took photos in various rooms.Time
This photo was taken around lunch time.Lighting
It was taken in a large window with the model sitting on the ledge but it was at the back of the house so the light from the window wasn't too bright but just giving enough back light for contrast in the photo.Equipment
This was using my Canon 400d with my Canon 50mm lens. No flash or tripod was used.Inspiration
It was a photo shoot with the local Camera Club who arranged for the models to be in various locations within the house.Editing
This image was processed in Photoshop, bringing up the shadows due to the back light. It is also cropped in fairly tight from a larger image as I felt the background was distracting and I like the thoughtful expression which I decided to focus on for the photo. It is obviously converted to black & white but I kept it soft to work with the soft expression.In my camera bag
I only have my Canon 400d and Canon 18-200mm lens and 50mm lens. I am still a novice so like to keep it simple.Feedback
