Behind The Lens

Location

this phot was taken at my own house

Time

nothing fancy either, clouded day and photo was taken indoors

Lighting

just natural light through the windows

Equipment

even though most of my pictures are taken with my Nikon D90, this one was taken with my smartphone ( Samsung Galaxy S6 )

Inspiration

the kittens are always up for some love and attention, they rely on each other all day long and when i walked in they just sat there giving me all kinds of faces, i just had to trake a picture of that moment

Editing

the only thing i did was to convert it to a black and white photo, i thought it would stand out better like that

In my camera bag

Nikon D90 with the kitlens 18-105 is my first choice, not the beat quality, but a good range to do all kind of things. When i go outdoors to snap some macro's i usually use a prime 28 or 50mm lens with some extension tubes and a flash, AKA the poor mans macro setup, which works rather well

Feedback

taking photo's of animals always requires patience. sothat is what you need the most, if the animal(s) don't cooperate, then tough luck, try again next time.
